A Card for My Son

Today I'm sharing a card I made for my son's birthday, wrapping up my week of masculine cards. I don't usually make him elaborate cards, since he is a guy, but this was for his 21st birthday. He's been playing classical guitar since he was 6 and his guitar has taken us on a lot of adventures together.
Since turning 21 marks a milestone, I've been reminiscing on the past and thought I'd create a guitar to celebrate all the fun memories he and his guitar have made over the years.
This card was a lot of fun to make, not your standard stamp, punch and assemble. I enjoyed having a bit of a challenge this time around.
Thanks so much for letting me share!

Heidi, That is one fantastic card! What a treasure. Is there a pattern or template for it anywhere?

Thank you, Kathie, for your nice comment. I made this card up as I went along, but here are the simple basics:
I made the base by printing out a picture of a guitar from the web, and added temporary adhesive to the picture, attaching it to a piece of So Saffron CS, using the picture as a template and then I carefully cut out the guitar image. I lightly sponged around the edges to give it some depth and added the other guitar pieces to it, using the original picture as my guide.
