Hello, Baby Boy

...............................................
Here's another baby boy card using the Epic Day DSP and the Bitty Banners framelits which I used to create the little DSP banners.

I used the Sweet Essentials stamp set for the "hello, baby" sentiment. I like the size of the sentiments in this stamp set. They're a little larger which means they fill up a bit more card space. You can add an embellishment and the sentiment balances out the space left on the card.

So glad that you stopped by :-)

 Supplies:
CS: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Epic Day DSP (130814)
INK: Early Espresso
SS: Sweet Essentials (126457)
BIG SHOT: Honeycomb EB folder (129378), Bitty Banners (129267), Delicate Designs, EB folder (127023), Circles framelits (130911)
ACCESSORIES: rhinestones

Six-Sided Baby Card

CLICK ON LINKS BELOW TO VIEW:

Today I'm sharing a baby boy card using the Hexagon punch and Honeycomb embossing folder.
It's not your traditional baby card, but I've been wanting to use my Epic Day DSP for awhile so pulled it out for this card along with the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set. I dragged my Soft Suede inkpad over the raised embossed Crumb Cake front panel and sponged Soft Suede and Calypso Coral around the edges of it. I used the Hexagon punch for the DSP hexagons and glued them onto pieces of Crumb Cake CS which were larger than the DSP. I then carefully cut the Crumb Cake CS around the DSP hexagons leaving about an 1/8" CS allowance.

Thanks for stopping by!

This is a card I made for a little girl from our church who had surgery and am happy to say that she's doing very well. I case'd the card design and punch art cat from Debbie Henderson, changing out the colors to pinks and brown. You can visit her blog to get all the how-to's.

I hope that you're having a great day!

Give Thanks

CLICK ON LINKS BELOW TO VIEW:

..............................................................

That was the theme of ourThanksgiving this year...Give Thanks! This has been a year of answered prayers and all I can do is "Give Thanks" to God who has heard our prayers and has graciously answered us. So what better way to celebrate our Thanksgiving this year than with the MDS Feast of Thanks ensemble?
Thanksgiving Menu Board placed in a frame

Napkin Rings
It comes with a bunch of fun elements that you can put together to create banners, leaves, name cards, napkin rings, coloring page placemats, menu boards, invitations, cute "I am thankful this year for..." cards to share at your Thanksgiving meal.
Placemat coloring page. All the kids colored placemats.
Placemat, napkin ring, thankful cards, name card
Lots of different colored shaped leaves grouped together
I used the ideas MDS offered and just printed them up, cut them out and put them together. I'm all into simple and easy this year.

I loved having the banner "Give Thanks" up all month...it was a great reminder to remember all that I have to give thanks for this year. Don't you love the Fall fabric wreath? My friend, Karin, made that for me which coordinated perfectly with the colors in the Feast of Thanks download.

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I'm still here...just been very busy. I have a bunch of cute pictures and projects to share with you, but first I have to edit the pics, write the blog post, (blah, blah, blah). Upcoming blog posts and pictures are on my "to do" list, so they'll be posted in the near future. Until then, I thought I'd share this cute and free MDS bow and tag set that was posted on My Digital Studio's page. It's a project that was created with MDS and saved as a PDF, so all you have to do is click on the PDF link and print it out, even if you don't have MDS. If you need some instructions on how to create the bow, check out MY HOW-TO post. Hope you have fun!
