How's your June going so far? I hope great! The summer is here and the outdoors is calling me, which makes it difficult to stay focused on things that I need to get done, because I keep looking for a reason to be outside. Apart from feeling a bit distracted, I've been getting ready for my son's 19th birthday and graduations of friend's that are coming up this weekend, which means cards.
I thought that I'd join in the Friday Blogger's Challenge with this card.
I did stay focused yesterday and got all my cutting and prepping done for this month's card classes. I'm looking forward to getting back to stamping with everyone again this month especially since we're making the Patriotic and Masculine themed cards. I used the Square Lattice textured embossing folder on each card, along with the Inlaid Embossing Technique (click here for a how-to video tutorial) for a couple of the cards. The stampset for this card is Word Play . It's loaded with great sentiments, especially the "Wish Big" sentiment. The fact that it's big and bold makes it a great focal point for a card. If you'd like to join us this month for any of my classes, check out my calendar for details. My first class for the month is this Tuesday, 6/14, at Tumbleweed Recreation Center.
Have a great day and thanks a bunch for stopping by :-)

What's for Dinner?
Create this stylish write-on/write-off Menu Board with us this coming Tuesday (3/22) at Tumbleweed Rec Center (316TW.331 - 12:30 PM; 317TW.331 - 7 PM), and you'll have the daily question of, "What's for Dinner?" already answered. And hey, if you're like me, I'm usually the one asking the question... and I'm the one making dinner! This is definitely the answer for me :-) We'll also be creating a Covered Purse-Size Notepad, which is great for menu planning, notes, or shopping list. If you're one of the lucky ones and aren't meal-planning challenged, you can make these to give away, they make great gifts! You can register for classes online with the City of Chandler using the one of the class codes above.
Adriel created and designed this fun project using the Elegant Soiree DSP and some digital elements using My Digital Studio. Way to go, Adriel! Since I haven't made one of these yet, I'm looking forward to next week's class :-)
On another note, I can't wait to publish our April Newsletter. We hit the jackpot this month with our stamping friend's card submissions. We have some gorgeous cards to share this month...can't wait for you to see what they've been up to, so be sure to check back at the first of April to view our newsletter.
We appreciate you taking time to stop by...have a wonderful day!!

CD Desktop Calendar
From Heidi...
Our project class at Tumbleweed this week is this fun altered CD Case Calendar (316TW.231 and 317TW.231). I used Sunny Garden Designer Paper along with Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz cardstock. The Square Lattice embossing folder makes a nice textured cardstock background. I used the Pocket Silhouettes stampset in the ovals and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch to create the ribbon trim effect. I made my own digital calendar which I printed on Whisper White cardstock. What a fun way to create a desktop calendar. Thanks for visiting us :-) Check out our calendar for our upcoming classes. Contact us if you'd like to attend.any of our classes. Thanks for visiting us :-)
