An Anniversary Card
I know this looks like yet ANOTHER Valentine's card, but it's really an anniversary card. My inspiration for this card came from one of Nerina's cards from SCS. I pulled out my retired stamp set "Wonderful Words" (still one of my all-time favorites) for the sentiment. The designer papers are from the More Amore DSP, which has so many fun and cheery designs to choose from.
PUNCHES: Postage Stamp (122344), Small Heart (117193)
ACCESSORIES: Simply Scored Tool (122334), Rhinestone Jewels (119246)

Lattice You Are Loved Valentine
I used the beautiful stamp set You Are Loved, which is a great stamp set for any occasion, not just for Valentine's Day. I have a Hearts A Plenty free tutorial for this card (sorry, it's minus photo-by-photo directions), which you'll be able to find under my Free Tutorials.

Valentine SAS Card
They're basically the same card with a different printed paper and the cardstock on the scallop circles reversed. Simple design, a lot of Big Shot-ing and pretty DS paper! BTW, that's the same DSP that I used on these mini love notes with the tiny squares of DSP... Sending Love Specialty DSP from Stampin' Up! I hope they continue making this kind of paper in the future, because it is so awesome to have one side with glitter on it. =)Real Red CS, Kraft CS, Very Vanilla CS, Pretty in Pink CS, Chocolate Chip CS, Sending Love Specialty DSP (one of my favs right now!), Big Shot die cut machine, Scallop Circles #2 die, Elegant Bouquet Impressions folder, Hearts & Brackets die, Photo Corner punch, All Holidays stamp set, Chocolate Chip ink, rhinestone (not SU!).

Birthday Card for Kwerner's Color Inspiration #57
The colors were a challenge... SO MANY! What I ended up doing was adhering thin strips of the different colors of cardstock onto a white piece of cardstock, side by side. I ran it through my Big Shot with the Hearts & Brackets die. The heart got dimensionalled to a 3-1/2" x 5" white cardstock base with the bottom corners rounded. I finished the card with a pink ribbon bow.
Anyway, wanted to share it with you! Hope you're having a great weekend! =)Friday, January 23, 2009

Heart Gift Tags

These were fairly easy to make and look really nice! I used the curly label bundle which came with the punch and a set of coordinating stamps. I stamped Kiwi Kiss ink and Pale Plum ink on white CS. I punched those out with the curly label punch. Then I stamped Versamark on Kiwi Kiss CS and Pale Plum CS and embossed with white embossing powder and punched those out. I then used the 3-heart stamp from the Love You Much set along with the Heart to Heart punch and used dimensionals to pop those
up on the tags. I added silver eyelets for stringing hemp twine through and that's it! Lots of fun and a sweet way to dress up a gift for anytime, especially Valentines Day.
BTW, that curly label set is great! I love the shape of the punch and the stamps coordinate so well with it! I'm ready to make some more... =D
Thanks so much for reading and looking! I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Blue Love Notes
These are 3x3 cards, which is a great size for a love note! 3x3 cards are a favorite shape of mine, partly because of their shape (square), but also because they're easy to make and you can get 3 card bases out of 1 sheet of 8.5" x 11" cardstock, so they're cheaper, and we all like that, right!?! Okay, here's what I used:Saturday, December 6, 2008
Adriel's new blog

P.S. I started this post this morning, but had problems with Blogger. I finished posting after the craft show, so that's why at the beginning of the post I'm talking about morning and then this post doesn't get posted until the evening. Thanks!
