Simple Valentine

Here's another Valentine card to share with you. On this simple card I used the Hearts framelit to emboss onto my Whisper White panel (don't think you can see the embossing very well...but yes, you can use the framelits to add embossing to your papercrafts. I'll have to share that technique in another blog post.) and then I added a couple of Everyday Enchantment DSP hearts to the embossed area, placing a red button tied with red/white twine to one of the hearts. I stamped a Valentine sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes, and now I've got myself a quick and easy handmade Valentine card to give away.
Oh...I almost forgot the paper piercing under the sentiment... just a little extra to finish off the card :-)
Have a great day!

Strips of Valentine Enchantment

It's hard to believe that we're already into the middle of January and heading towards the next holiday, Valentine's Day. Here's the last card we made in this month's Valentine Trio class. I used strips of the SAB Everyday Enchantment DSP along with the Edgelit Adorning Accents scallop die and coordinating Adorning Accents embossing folder.
I have a couple of sheets left over from the Everyday Enchantment DSP which are more masculine, but haven't created anything with them yet. With my Valentine classes finished, I'm looking forward to playing around with these new sheets of DSP and their color combinations.

I hope that you're having a week, and thanks for stopping by!

This card is part of January's Valentine Enchantment Trio class.

A Quilted Valentine

Here's another Valentine share. This card uses the upcoming Sale-A-Bration Everyday Enchantment DSP. This cute DSP has been punched out with the Postage Stamp punch to create the quilt effect.

This is one of the Valentine cards we're making in this month's class on Tuesday, 1/20. If you can't make the class, I have the tutorial and a few card kits available for purchase.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Charming Heart Birthday

Here's a quick birthday card using the new Hearts Framelit die. I wanted my card to be the size of the largest framelit, so I folded my 6x11 Pool Party CS in half lengthwise and placed one of the sides just inside the framelit to create a hinge that the card would open/close at. I used the upcoming Sale-A-Bration DSP Everyday Enchantment and cut out a smaller heart using the Hearts framelit, sponging Pool Party ink around the edges of the DSP heart. My stamped image is from the Charming stamp set which I used the Marker-to-Stamp technique on to get the variety of colors on my stamped image. I punched out the stamped image using the Extra-Large Oval punch, snailing it to a Perfect Polka Dot embossed 2-3/8" scallop circle. I also embossed the heart-shaped card front with the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder. The stamped/scallop circle is dimensionaled to the upper center of the heart. The Basic Black stamped  "Happy Birthday" is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes SS, which was punched with the Word Window punch and then the edges were sponged. I added a punched Itty Bitty Pool Party scallop to the left side of the punched sentiment with one of SU's Mini Brads attached to the flower center. This last little piece was dimensionaled to the card front...and voila! It's done :-) Thanks for stopping by!
