What would
Summer be without gardens and
flip-flops? This was such a fun card to design. The
Beyond the Garden DSP helps to create that summer garden look. After making this card in one of my classes this month, we all imagined a trip to the beach or Hawaii.
The
Inlaid Embossing technique (click on link to watch my How-To video) creates a great textured sole for the flip-flops and the
Blossom Bouquet punch adds an airy embellishment to the card. I really like this punch...if you like scallops, this punch is very versatile!
I know I've mentioned this before, but I have to toot my husband's horn...being the graphic designer that he is, he's always so sweet to create PDF templates for me when I need something special for a class and he was kind enough to create the PDF template for the flip-flops on this card...thanks a bunch, Phil...and thank
