Special Recipes Deserve a Special Home

From Adriel:

That's right... a home like this!

I finished the recipe binder my mom previewed a few days ago. It's all done and in our shop ready for some special recipes.

The inside is complete with dividers and tabs for a variety of foods. Most of the tabs have been hand-stamped with images from "From the Kitchen of" stamp set. Two of the images my mom threw together on her computer using word and they worked out great. The images have all been water colored using the blender pen and ink technique.

The holes in the dividers are all reinforced with matching designer paper. And if you're familiar with stamping, you probably recognize the paper from last year's Stampin' Up! catalog. It's called "Rockabilly" designer paper and the cherries looked perfect for a recipe album. =)

Anyway, it was fun to make and I'm sure we'll be making more of them! =)

Rockabilly Tea Book

I've been working on pictures I've taken over the last few weeks, so now I can share them with you. Here's a tea book that I think is really fun and edgy. I used SU's Rockabilly DS paper (which I see is being retired) using the black stripe and Kiwi Kiss polka dot. These are a lot of fun to make! Thanks for looking.

Rockabilly Organizer

From Heidi...I just had to share this custom order coupon holder. I probably would've never put these papers together, but after I made this I had to admit that it made a very fun organizer. I didn't realize that SU's Rockabilly DS paper had such fun paper in it. The blacks are very cool...some have glossy stripes, like this one. This paper would make some very fun cards or projects. If you aren't into skulls, the back of the skull papers are red with white polka dots and the back of the other skull paper is the black with glossy stripes on it, like on the front of this organizer. Anyway, just thought you'd like to see how this turned out. Thanks for looking!
