Another My Digital Studio Hybrid Card
From Heidi...
This Hybrid Card is my favorite of the three that I made. I love the colors in this watercolor image and the tall vertical feel. I used My Digital Studio's digital Summertime Splendor DSP. The more I'm using MDS, the more I'm seeing all of the possibilities with this program. The ability to resize the downloads make it super versatile, because you're not limited to one size stamp or one sized image on the DSP. I'm looking forward to our Hybrid Classes next month. I can't wait to share the cards with everyone.
Adriel bought herself a copy of MDS with some of her birthday money, so when she's got a little more time to play with it, I'm looking forward to seeing what she comes up with. She's usually is a little braver than I am when it comes to the technical stuff.
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Bashful Blue, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Ink: Basic Black, Chocolate Chip (sponging)
Punches: Photo Corner, Itty Bitty Shapes
My Digital Studio, Linen thread, Button

My Digital Studio Hybrid Card
From Heidi...
I've been designing and creating the last few weeks, so now I have some new cards and projects to share with you. I've been creating for a Hybrid Class we'll be offering next month. I used My Digital Studio's new Summertime Splendor download DSP paper to create the focal point of this card. Stampin' Up's new core color, Cherry Cobbler, really sets the watercolor image off. I just got my order with the new colors a few days ago, so it's been fun to play with the new DSP and stampsets. I also received the new 2010-2011 Idea and Catalog book...it's full of new and fun stuff to create with. Thanks for stopping by and visiting us!
Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Cherry Cobbler, Rose Red
Ink: Basic Black
Big Shot: Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder
Punches: Scallop Trim Border, Modern Label, Word Window
My Digital Studio - Summertime Splendor DSP; Black grosgrain ribbon; pink button

Baby Shower Gift Cards
From Heidi...
I have babies on my mind...so, I thought I'd share a cute gift card holder I made for a baby shower or as a baby gift. I made a little "onesie" for the front of the gift card and used velcro as a closure for the gift card. Cute and fun to make!
Today I'm working on some new gift card holder ideas for our project class in July. I wish that I knew what the new DSP were going to be in the new 2010-11 Idea book, so I could be creating with the new papers, but I won't know until next month...aaaah! Waiting is hard!
Stampset: Itty Bitty Bits; Punches: Itty Bitty Shapes, 1" circle, Bojo Blossom; CS: Certainly Celery, Cottage Wall DSP, Pale Plum, Welcome Neighbor DSP; Big Shot: Scallop Circle, Perfect Polka Dot Impressions Folder

Happy Birthday, Cinco De Mayo, and Anniversary
From Heidi...
Quite a title, huh? May 5th is a busy day. The "Happy Birthday" is for Adriel...today is her birthday! "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Adriel...Happy Birthday to you!!!"
It's also Cinco De Mayo! We had a friend request a Cinco De Mayo/Anniversary card this week, which explains the anniversary heading. Here's a card I came up with for her. I used retired stampsets for the stamping and My Digital Studio for the sentiment. She requested that it be colorful and happy, so this was a fun challenge to create. I hope this card makes a bright spot in your day!

From Heidi...
Wow...that's what comes to mind first when I think about the shower we had today for Adriel. We had such a great time with everyone who shared the day with us. If any of you are reading this, we just want to say, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

My April Color Challenge Card
From Heidi...
My Summer Mini Occasion pre-order came last week, so I had to play with some of the fun stuff we got. Our Color Challenge this month and the new stamp set "Sweet Stuff" was a great starting off place. This is an adorable stamp set and was a lot of fun to use. I used my crimper and scallop edge punch to make the card a little playful. The card reminds me of an ice-cream parlor.

Embossed Valentine Card
From Heidi...
I hope that you're all having a great week. We've got a few classes this week, so I'm looking forward to some creative time with our stamping friends. Thursday's class is an altered file folder birthday or calendar or shopping organizer...so that's going to be fun to create again. I'm sharing this embossed Valentine card. I CASE'd this from a Christmas card I saw and recreated it as a Valentine card using the Well-Scripted stamp set and Big Shot Heart diecut.

Masculine Card Share
From Heidi...
We're offering a masculine card class tomorrow night at Tumbleweed using the Nouveau Chic DSP. I was in need of some other masculine cards, so pulled out some very retired SU DSP paper using the same layout as another masculine card. Thought I'd share it today! Hope you're all having a great start to a new week!
