From Adriel:
So what do you think? Do you like the blog's new look? It was super easy to do and didn't cost anything!! The site I found my blog skin on is called Cutest Blog on the Block. They have so many backgrounds to choose from! The hardest part is picking only ONE! Be on the lookout! With it being so easy to change, the look of the Two Happy Stampers blog may change now and then! Thanks for looking and let me know what you think about the new look!

Changes Coming!
From Adriel:
Hi there! I'm just letting you all know that the Two Happy Stampers blog will be getting a new look in a few days. That's right... a "blog-lift". So, when you visit us and it looks different, you will know why and not think you came to the wrong place! I think you're going to like the new look! Stay tuned...
BTW, sign up for the City of Chandler Parks & Recreation classes begins November 15 for Chandler residents! Click here to check out the Break Time magazine and see what classes we're offering. We are in the Teen & Adult section and also the Senior Adult section. Just look for our names as instructors for the classes. We will be teaching at Tumbleweed Rec. Center and my mom will be teaching a few classes at the Senior center in downtown Chandler. Below is a picture of a bunch of nugget boxes. These have a slider insert that slides out and holds nugget candies. The candies are individually covered with decorative paper. It's such a cute gift for anyone! This is one of several projects that we will be making for our Christmas Treasures class.

Girly Girl Page
From Adriel:
I gave digital scrapbooking a try today. I've seen a lot of people doing this lately and decided to have some fun with it today. I did a page for my daughter Kayla. What do you think?
I gave digital scrapbooking a try today. I've seen a lot of people doing this lately and decided to have some fun with it today. I did a page for my daughter Kayla. What do you think?

I found a site that offers free downloads and everything I used on this page was from a kit that I downloaded for FREE. The site is called Free Digital Scrapbooking. It was a lot of fun and after figuring out how to save each file properly to be able to use it in my photo editing software, it was fairly easy to use. You will need some sort of photo editing program to do digital scrapbooking. There's all kinds of software out there. I have Microsoft Digital Image Pro and use it a lot. I use it to edit the photos that I upload to this blog. It has a lot of nice features and is easy to use. It worked great today for this digital scrap page.
Anyway, something different to show you today. No stamping involved at all, but still creative and fun! Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

More Pics from the Craft Show...
From Adriel:
Below are some wooden frames that I altered.

Below are some wooden frames that I altered.

These are fairly easy to make, they just take a little time. First, I painted the wood a color that would most compliment the paper I chose to use. I allowed the paint to dry. I then used mod podge to adhere the paper to the front, smoothing out bubbles and trimming around the edges with a hobby blade. After that dried, I then sanded all the edges. I then embellished the frames. These make great gifts. I listed these at $6 at the craft show. Didn't sell either one... for the time being, I'm stuck with them, but they're still available. Let me know if you would like one!

Craft Fair Pictures
From Heidi...
I thought I'd share a few pictures from the Craft Fair we did on Saturday. We had a great time and met many new faces. It was a very warm November day...even for AZ! Our biggest sellers were the paper pumpkin kits...I only made 5, but could have sold more, had I had more. My granddaughter kept telling me, "People are going to love these, Grandma!" I guess she was right. I appreciated all the ideas and helps from several other bloggers that shared pictures of their craft displays. Gwen's display pictures were very helpful. My husband used her chicken wire design to make one for us. Enjoy!

More Crafts...
From Adriel:
I'm just posting a few pictures of other crafts we've made for the craft show. And just a reminder... tomorrow is the BIG day!!! In case you missed the news, we will be doing some craft shows during the month of November. Tomorrow is one of the shows, so we are all ready to go! Here's the info in case you are interested in attending this craft show:
Desert Dreams 2008 Holiday Boutique
Saturday, November 1st
Saturday, November 1st
Gilbert Historical Museum
SW corner of Gilbert and Elliot Rd.
FREE admission
8am - 1pm
Onto the pictures...

File Folder Portfolios - these are great, aren't they? I learned how to make them HERE. I used different file folders so that they are enclosed. I think it's more usable that way. I also attached the file folders a little differently, but it works the way she shows you as well. I made two for this event. I will be selling them for $18 each.

Memory Flip Album - I used an idea that Stampin' Up showed awhile back for a recipe scrapbook. I used different sized chipboard for the covers and embellished all the pages in between with space for pictures and journaling, so it can be used for a memory scrapbook instead of for recipes. It stands up on its own and is a great way to display pictures. I made two of these and will be selling them for $15 each.

Gift Tags - I made a couple different styles of gift tags. One is ornament gift tags. I made these using my wonderful punches! What would I do without them?!?! I used the small flourish and circle from the Priceless set and they worked great to make the circles look like ornaments. The other style is more traditional, using both sizes of tag punches and various stamps from SU! I didn't get a picture of those, but will try to get one posted if I can later. Anyway, made a bunch of the tags and will be selling them in a pack of 10 for $2.

Box w/ note cards - Handmade box with 5 - 3x3 notecards and envelopes inside. I made two different styles of these boxes and cards. I only got a picture of one of the styles. I made a total of 4 boxes and will be selling them for $8 each.

Bread Sleeves - I came up with the dimensions for this on my own. Thought someone might like to package a loaf of bread in a cute way. It's just a simple way to dress up a homemade gift for someone. Perfect for giving to a neighbor or teacher. I made 8 of these and am selling them for $1.50 each.
We have a lot of other stuff that I have no pictures of, which include: assorted gift bags, paper pumpkins and kits, card candy, post-it keychain holders, altered picture frames, Thanksgiving place cards, brag books, Christmas card sets, greeting cards, gift card holders, Christmas fudge (candy bar sliders), nugget boxes... and more. We've been working very hard! :-D
If you are interested in any of these items, feel free to email us and let us know. We would be happy to take any special orders you may have.
I'll post pictures from the craft show in a couple of days. I've got my camera charging as we speak. Stay tuned...

Circle Cards
From Adriel:
Here's some cute cards I made using a coluzzle circle and blade and the cute (but retired) set, Very Punny.

Here's a close up of one of the cards.

I made four sets of these cards to sell at the craft shows. They fit into a 3x3 envelope. I water colored the images with a blender pen and inks. I used my crimper on the background circle to add some texture to the cards and topped off all the cards with ribbon! I think they're pretty cute! What do you think?
Supply list (all SU! unless noted):
Gable Green CS
Lovely Lilac CS
Barely Banana CS
White CS
Chocolate Chip ink
Gable Green ink

Ribbon (all ribbon used is not SU!)

Also, I added a new picture of my mom and I to our side bar. It was taken last Thanksgiving. Just makes me thankful for my mom. She's a very good friend. :-D

Color Combination Link
From Adriel:
Sometimes the hardest part about putting a card together is getting the right combination of colors. There is a great site that lists all of the SU! colors and gives you color combinations with a simple click. Check it out HERE! On the left we have a link that is always there for you for this site, but I thought I would highlight the link today. I hope you find the site helpful in getting that perfect color combination for your masterpiece!

One Piece Stationary Box
From Heidi...
I thought I'd share another item that I made for our upcoming craft shows. The stationary box is one-piece and opens up. It holds regular-size cards and envelopes, mini cards and gift tags. It also includes sections for holding stamps, a pen and a notepad. It was a fun project to embellish and to make coordinating cards and holders for. On top of that, it makes a great gift.

Friday is Here!!!
From Adriel:
Hello out there! Yes, I am happy that today is Friday. It is not only the end of the week, but I'm going out on a date with my husband tonight! We're going to go for dinner and then see "Fireproof" at the movies. I'm looking forward to it!
Anyway, here's a card for the Birthday Bash class at Tumbleweed. This class will be in January. It is a class held on a certain day of the week for 3 weeks. One week we will make a birthday calendar (which we've shown before) to keep all those dates for birthdays written down in one place. The next week, we alter a lunch tin for keeping cards in. The last week we will make 10 cards, 2 of each of the 5 designs. This is one of the designs...
Thanks for looking! Have a great day and a wonderful weekend!
