Get Well Doodle Card

CLICK ON LINKS BELOW TO VIEW:
...............................................
This isn't what I would call an official "doodle" card, but it does use some of the ideas you'd expect in a doodle card...black outlined border with some doodly images. Although when you think of a doodle card you think of whimsical images, which this doesn't have at all. Let's call it a formal-looking doodle card and leave it at that.
I used the stamp sets Summer Silhouettes, Papillon Potpourri, and a retired stamp set Sincere Salutations for the sentiment. The Summer Silhouette stamp set created a great leafy vine and I used the small flower from the set in the corners. I filled in the rest of the lines with my black marker.
Someday I'll make a real doodle card!

Scallop Flower Trio Thank You

(there's too many fun promos to list them all here)
Remember a few posts ago when I told you about the diversity of florals in the Mixed Bunch stamp set? These cute little blooms are from this set.
Mix these cute blooms with two new in-colors, Strawberry Slush and Crisp Cantaloupe, and you get a pretty card.
This Old Olive stamped branch is from the Summer Silhouettes stamp set which hangs above the embossed Large Scallop edgelit. The sentiment is from the Best of Greetings stamp set or it can be found in the retired Thank You Kindly set.
This card is also part of the A.R.T. Card Challenge this week. If you're looking for some inspiration, you can CLICK HERE to see this week's challengers.

Inspiration Challenge

I don't usually get much time to join in challenges, but today my husband and son are busy working  on one of our cars, and since it's pretty hot outside the outdoors is not calling me. Today I took up this week's SCS Inspiration Challenge. We were to use an inspiration piece from Denizmum's Etsy Store.

I chose her piece below for my inspiration, using the colors and the little pink flower.
